Please make sure you fill out and return your child(ren)'s registration packet. These went home last week. The office would like these returned by Friday, April 26th.
Spring pictures were sent home last week. You may either purchase the pictures or return the pictures. We would like to have these paid for or returned as soon as possible. If possible, please send payment or return the pictures by Friday, April 26th.
Weekly Agenda April 22nd- April 26th
Reading: This week's phonics focus will be reading and spelling words with "au, aw, augh, and al". These words will make the vowel sound you hear in straw. This week's sight words are: brother, father, friend, love, mother, picture . Please help your child practice reading these words at home. I will test them over reading these words on Friday. This week's vocabulary words are accept (to take something offered or to agree to something) and often (to do it a lot). The students need to understand what they mean. On Monday we will read All Kinds of Helpers (pages 242-253). Please have your child read this story to you on Monday night and return the book to school. On Wednesday and Thursday we will read Meet Rosina (pages 302-323). Please have your child read this story to you on Wednesday and Thursday and return the book to school each day. Our comprehension focus will be identifying the author's purpose. They will have their regular test on Friday.
